Cancellation and Refund Policy – Homent

At Homent, we strive to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully before making a booking.

1. Booking Cancellation by Tenant

  • Tenants can cancel a room booking before the move-in date by contacting Homent support via email or phone.

  • A cancellation fee of ₹50 will be charged if the booking is canceled within 24 hours of confirmation.

  • If the cancellation is made after 24 hours of booking confirmation, but before the move-in date, a fee of ₹100 will be deducted from the refund.

  • The ₹200 successful deal fee is non-refundable once a booking is confirmed and finalized.

2. Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds are applicable only if the tenant cancels before the move-in date.

  • No refunds will be processed once the tenant has moved into the room.

  • In case the room is found to be unavailable or already occupied due to an error on our part, a full refund (including the ₹200 deal fee) will be issued.

3. Refund Timeline

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation.

  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method used during booking.

4. Owner-Initiated Cancellations

  • If the room owner cancels the booking after it is confirmed, tenants will receive a full refund including the ₹200 fee.

  • Homent will assist the tenant in finding an alternative accommodation at no extra cost.

5. Dispute Resolution

  • In case of any booking issues or disputes, tenants are encouraged to contact Homent Support immediately.

  • We aim to resolve all genuine complaints fairly and promptly.
